Forget the hooks or the tendrils curled around barbed wire, it’s action time on planet earth and remaining suspended in air has never been easier. If you are the kind of person that likes to root around under the boardwalk for extra notes, then I encourage a career in improvisation. It’s a strange wedding, for better or worse, a ride of faith, devotion, and all those other things that give us value. Of course, it’s not about the clothes you wear or the way you comb your hair. How it adds up, I’m not entirely certain. It’s malleable, a breathing rollercoaster that bends between the whim of the engineer and the passenger. Tonight’s audience may get to decide but I’m staying out of the decision-making process this time.
