The latest release from Primitive Languages is the first contribution by the duo of artists/songwriters Katie O’Sullivan and Lili Schulder, from Further Reductions and Rose E Kross, and 51717 and Shadowlust, respectively, called ppG. Originally meant as a cassette release consisting of two tracks simply titled “SIDE A” and “SIDE B,” it’s an entrancing half-hour+ foray deep into an ambient, noise, drone, and industrial-inspired place from which the listener will find difficult to leave of their own volition.
