Shred your head with solo-guitar Swede Schakalens Bror, whose playing models the feedback screaming intensity of a harsh noise set and whose influences are big trucks and ice hockey.
The five untitled tracks on Benzedrine Bonanza, released by London label Regional Bears, wield fully abrasive, damaging, microphone-style feedback directly at you. The violent incendiary six-string shrapnel arrives at a furious pace, with guitar notes scraping out within a piercing, totalizing atonality. Haven’t heard guitar work this blatantly wrecked and gloriously unlistenable in a long time.
My new alarm.
