From VAAGNER’s newest batch of ambient releases comes a preview from Shō Mura, the artist behind Ikura Imprint, a one-hour ambient show on NTS that I adore, mainly because there aren’t many ambient-only mixes or mixfiles appearing on my SoundCloud stream often, so when I see Ikura Imprint I’m excited to get lost, to feel like sea-mist breaking onto rock-foam, and to be reminded to not be overly attached to earthly matters. Same goes for this song. I fell asleep during it, and when I awoke I felt like I needed to pray, or meditate. It was trying to let my body heal me by making me fall asleep. I’m into this feeling.
