Catharsis is found on the hilt of a bayonet, smeared with some spit as it promptly meets your face. Morbid exultation, repurposed rage once used to lash your own heart but now turned against the world. An onslaught would be too indiscriminate for something this harnessed. This is all about control and how with it, you can smelt and weld a switch to strike with deserved cruelty. Strike and pulverize the excesses of masculinity, bear down on it with a beat built like steel-toes. With such resolve, it’s not so much as rage anymore as it’s a cataclysm. The beauty of this sound isn’t in that resulting destruction but from where it is born, how easily it is manifested from self-loathing. A self-loathing with power that can be appreciated in every sort of unfortunate manner. STCLVR happens to wield the hammer this time.
Misandrist is as good a hammer as any for the job but just in case you need a fine touch, there’s a whip included. Programmed lashes, a synthesized tribulation and electronic obliteration. Just don’t expect STCLVR to set your jaw back in place afterwards.
