Gauged out impatience, dunked in lacquered tempo and momentum is TOTALLY on the split screen of Střed Světa’s monitor. On the other half, maybe a gif of a penguin wilin’ out. Maybe not, though. There’s a good chance the screen isn’t visible, so perhaps we’ll never know. What I do know, is Oboustranně dvoudílný has to be one of the most satisfyingly odd, oddly satisfiable albums I’ve heard all year long. And it’s odd in a sense of pure weirdness. Not in a puffed-up, peacocked strange way, but rather in an isolated way, trying with all it’s left-field might to have a pocket of conversation with your ears. And it’s a long gab-fest, full of stops and starts. Get on that below.
