Damn, GOLDENCITY is quite a glorious mingle. Vocals and production by Sudan Moon are SUPREMELY top-notch. And Paxico doing the releasing? Them beat-slayers snagged another solid release!
What I’m stoked about most, again, are the vocals and production. Like, had these vocals been separate from the production, and set with a band or brass, they’d sound 100% cheesy. However, if the production was left without the vocals, it’s sound right at home under the Paxico umbrellah. And typically I HATE lyrical music, but weridly, Sudan Moon uses (her OWN???) vocals as a point-of-interest in both the rythm and melody sections. The sorta stuff that places my mind WAYYYY across the room, and I’m just looking at it, laying in a pile of brain juice and blood on the floor, thinking to myself what the FUCK is going on here.
