On his recent colab with oldsol, bunnkr.taype, Big Ear Tapes head sundial describes the mini-album as “dim evening spontaneous sound apparatus from the bottom of our galoshes to yours” and “#freethrowdrone”. I’m more inclined to say it’s a concoction of aquatic signals, deeply embedded melodic drones, vocal pop-ups, longing bass tones, spastic and subdued percussive elements, tape filth, echoing synths, misty samples, and fugitive sounds bubbling into oblivion. What do I know, though?
