Typically, I don’t cover people in music communities that harass me via e-mail or text messaging; personally, HVRF is a weird zone for me. A zone WAY WAY WAY WAY outside the music, at this point.
However, it’s important to anticipate the fact that HVRF may actually be hosting 100 releases by the end of this year — the label’s inception year — which is quite obviously impressive. And it competes well with all the other hardvapour labels that have bubbled up since the genre’s recent aesthetic boom. Although, “Where to start?” remains to be asked when visiting the HVRF Bandcamp page, in regard to their available discography. Sorta like downloading your first Lil B mixtape, or making a convincing argument of why Trump should win.
Well, to mark a good starting point for newcomers, and in light of HVRF’s terrifying publicity tactics, the Pryp’Yat’, Ukraine-based label dropped HVRF PRESENTS... A HARD HALLOWEEN, featuring a list of TMT favorites just in time for the holiday season. Orange and Black and Purple and Green glow-sticks all night:
