Let’s take your favorite plant (inside or outside). Admire the plant for what it appears to you as every single day. Now focus on how it stems: where do the buds bloom, how do these buds bolt, what shape do these leave take for sunshine, why does it photosynthesis so well in its current location, etc.? Check out the blemishes: dried leaves toward the bottom, roots protruding from the dirt, its twisted and flipped limbs to catch the perfect amount of rays. Does it house insects of any kind? Are snapped stalks? What sort of weather has it faired throughout its existence?
