Stefanie Franciotti (a.k.a. Sleep ∞ Over) is a bonafide siren. I’m sure of it. But instead of solely luring scurvy riddled sailors towards her shores, all are welcome!
On her last album, the highly underrated and deeply haunting Forever, beds of saturated keys and drum machines laid the groundwork for her trailing vocals to float atop in hazy bliss. Marked by its sense of loss, a balance of warbles and smoothness, and a refined perfectionism, the entire album flows and floats like an abandoned boat off her craggy coast (remember, she’s a siren).
So, we were especially happy when Franciotti enthusiastically said yes to crafting us a guest mix of some of her recent listening habits. Chock full of nuggets, wine~mouth isn’t an experience to skip around through. Who knows, you might miss something. So, sit back, relax, and press play.
