The last time Archivist, aka Seattle, WA techno-smith Alex Markey, fried our minds was with the Pathfinder EP (oh, and did I mention we premiered a track?). Of course you know I’m putting words down because he’s got something new out, but I have to mention that in addition to Force Reduction, Archivist also just dropped Rhododendron, another EP via Italy’s Truth or Consequences. Where does he find the time?!? From the former release, his debut for the Seattle based MOTOR Collective, “Force Reduction” has been bangin’ over here at TMT HQ (aka my bedroom), and it’s all about the rippin’ and the tearin,’ the rippin’ and the tearin’. Crisp percussion paired with warped, loud as fuck synths will have you reaching for the Pellegrino, cuz this one is pure FIRE!! Cassette and digital editions dropping June 17, so get the warehouse reserved and be ready to pump Force Reduction late and loud.
