Who of y’all out there are playing Pokemon Go? Shred me up! I’m MangoritaLite on it. Can you hit people up on Pokemon Go? Whatever. But what I DO find intriguing is the amount of memories I’m making with it so far involving music I listen to daily. So I can only imagine how the rest of y’all are fairing in the world of “GOTTA CATCH EM ALL GPS.” Not to mention having always made memories with music via digital interface, whether it was Lit and Age of Empires, Oasis and NBA JAM, Resident Evil 2 and B.I.G., Everquest and Metallica, Mortal Kombat and Wu-Tang Clan, Prince of Persia and R. Kelly, Asheron’s Call and Elliott Smith, etc. Etc.! Thus, when vids like バミューダ b e r m u d a’s “A2” video comes skyscraping into my world in all 32-bits of majesty, I sorta geek on nostalgia. Okay, but that’s a like: I CHOKE ON NOSTOLGIA. In the best way possible, Bermuda’s “A2” submerges me in memory of youth, wasting time, staying inside, dreaming of the world, and generally waiting for the day I could divulge my inner most gamer-guilt while knowing there are plenty people out there like myself in this regard.
Dip your toes in バミューダ b e r m u d a’s sand. Enjoy the moon-lit rays of “A2.” Get lost in バミューダ b e r m u d a’s newest album coming out in the next couple of weeks on Adhesive Sounds. And most importantly: find paradise.
