Gaze on the wave of “Pleasure Intellect,” a track off GLOVE’s upcoming album on BUFU Records, out later this year. In a haze of jangly guitar, a synth melody connects the towers of rock and pop in a pure punk slice of bloody baked goods. Cold in procedure. Woke on lyrics. Steady snare crack beat bumping radio-wired vocals in a mess of noises colliding across signals and pings. “Pleasure Intellect” demands a lull of joy while strangling a gasp for one more thrill. Label notes:
GLOVE is a heavily Synthesized New-Wave project from Tampa, FL. You can hear stripped down influences of Devo, B-52’s, Gary Numan and Talking Heads. Glove’s sound consists of guitar leads that are laden with synth melodies supported by kraut-rock driven drums and bass.
Glove was formed by Rod Woolf and Brie Denicourt from a spin off of a previous project. Along with their close friend Michelle Primiani, who was eager to learn music and picked up synthesizers easily, they plan on picking up right where they left off.
