After a year of stellar releases, you’d think November and December would be a time for friends, family, and general revelry before it all starts over again in 2018. You would be wrong. Down in Austin, Texas, Holodeck doesn’t know the meaning of the word vacation. In addition to a new release from Future Museums, H-deck is announcing a self-titled cassette from Austin duo Lachane. And wouldn’t you know, there’s a video to go along with the announcement, for slow burning album highlight “Ideal-I.” Unlike some of Holodeck’s more techno leaning releases of late, Lachane channels a downcast electro-goth vibe that’s ideal for dark nights and even darker days, if you feel me? Pre-orders are up, so get hyped for that February 9, 2018 release date.
