Remember my super fun track post for the upcoming Midday Veil album? If so — or even if not — have I got a treat for you: below you can stream MV’s This Wilderness in its entirety. The new album, the group’s third, drops this Friday, and it sees the Seattle quintet re-teaming with producer Randall Dunn, who worked with them on 2k13’s The Current. The record also boasts solid guest stars, including Bernie Worrell (P-Funk! Talking Heads!), Eyvind Kang (Secret Chiefs 3, among other projects!), and Skerik (who some, or maybe just me, may remember for his work in Les Claypool’s Frog Brigade). This is a tight, cohesive record that is sure to please longtime fans, or if you’re like me and are more familiar with their plethora of side projects, then This Wilderness is a great place to start with Midday Veil.
