In the coming months, UK dance music legend Trevor Jackson will be releasing a series of tracks from his PLAYGROUP project. This will include 30 tracks spanning 9 vinyl-only limited-edition EPs. Each EP will apparently only be pressed in groups of 250, so get ‘em while they’re hot, people!
Jackson diagnoses the project as “Inspired by the hedonistic early days of house, disco, post punk, electro and dub, [reflecting] a unique moment in time.” The first one started last Friday.
Peep our premiere of the track “Ice Palace” below. The song is off EP 3, which is being released August 5 via Yes Wave. Should be a funky fall this year.
