No, we don’t have a release date for Arca’s forthcoming Mutant project yet, but we have something even better: a video for the first single off the new album. It’s titled “Soichiro,” apparently the middle name of frequent collaborator Jesse Kanda, and it’s submerged in a similar environment to last year’s Xen.
Mutant, Arca’s second album, is expected this fall on Mute. The track follows the recent announcement of Arca’s collaboration with Hood By Air’s Shayne Oliver as Wench, which is expected to release a full-length next year.
