When new songs from Milwaukee trio Dogs in Ecstasy drop, I tune in. These two- to three-minute fuzz-MIDI pop-grunge anthems are just what the doctor ordered any day of the week. Their new single, “Channing,” is ostensibly about noted actor Channing Tatum, but does it matter? No, it does not. This is straight to the veins power rock that we all need. Slam an energy drink and embrace rock again. The dogs have a new album coming out later this year on Juiceboxxx’s Thunderzone, so get ready for plenty more posts from yours truly, whether you like it or not.
