And now for a transmission all the way from Sydney: E For Echo comes to us with a video for “How to Win,” a dreamy pop tune filled with reverberating guitars, sparkling synth lines, and dual vocals cascading through the song.
Still, the heavenly mix concerns a subject matter that’s all too terrestrial: figuring out how to make financial ends meet. Personifying this struggle in the song’s video is Munich-based dancer Cristina Commisso, a hopeful artist trying to stay inspired while eking out a living at a corner deli. Eagle eyes will spot that the video takes place at the Redfern convenience store, a bit of a legend to Sydney locals.
