In need of some scuzz-fuck, vapes-of-wrath shit? What about some murk punk? Maybe even need some poet puke coating flowers? If so, then you’re in luck, cuz the reptilian shape-shifting overlords known as Goldblums are here to fill that need with their video for “Bad Weather Bad” off the upcoming Gnat Bones.
Now, their self-released 2013 cassette Drug Window barely registers on VU meters when played, but that hasn’t stopped a small but devoted Des Moines fanbase from screaming the picked-apart lyrics to “Pills, Pills”, “Rambo Knife”, or any of their other songs during shows. And from the looks of it, this new one falls right in line with their lo-fi or die steez.
