Although P SH made FOCUS POCUS (recently released on the newly formed label, Squiggle Dot) in 2007, the sounds-conception still seem way ahead of their time. Thankfully, we got a visual into the mind of this madness with a video for “09,” a topsy turvy interpretation of the mold P SH mentally works with and contorts within a glorious audio mirage. Colors and shapes mirroring and twisting surrounding a vibrantly dancing blob that is both alive with contorted stretches and syncopated consciousness. “09” is a journey through the mist of creative brevity, hatching a muse of imagination in bursts of dualities and diacotomies.
