Here comes the Magill, y’all. Straight up living around the EP Foster Library one Sunday (maybe) afternoon (maybe). Feels like something my brother and pop and I would stumble upon, while taking a nice summer weekend afternoon to the ‘brary. Suddenly an echoing sax leaks out from a side room, and opening the door enlivens all the senses. Here, Rob Magill and team jam on some blues and jazz fusion, with some real-time Americana -esque call-and-response with the guitar and sax, whilst letting the drummer get to his thing too, outside that steady beat. Then a zone develops, and it’s on to the next one. Which is really just a nice hunk of Magill saxing. LOL — there’s one part where he just BELTS OUT and then *pop* —this guy. <3
