Sigur Rós launched a 24-hour event yesterday that culminated today with the release of a video for the group’s new single, “Óveður,” out now on XL Recordings and Remote Control Records. The incredible NSFW video is by Swedish director Jonas Åkerlund, who includes beautiful, desolate landscape shots of the Reykjanes peninsular and a Roadhouse-esque sequence with spewed blood, broken teeth, and public nudity.
Watch it above, and stay tuned for more info from Sigur Rós, whose last album was 2013’s Kveikur.
