Nearly four years after their scintillating self-titled LP, Austin space rockers Sungod return to Holodeck with their latest offering, Wave Refraction. Below we have the appropriately titled video for “Hypnotic,” a trippy excursion sure to please kosmische/krautrock fans. Pre-orders are up, and Wave Refraction drops August 24 in digital, cassette, and vinyl editions through Holodeck. The band might as well rename all their albums “The Ultimate Trip,” because I feel like I’ve been blasted a million light years through space, only to witness my older self stumble around an immaculate space prison.
