It’s no secret that Chocolate Grinder geeks out about Tough Fuzz ‘round these parts. Old boy just knows what we like, and “Oh, boy” do we like it. His first three volumes of cassettes were as gooey as spent gum on a roasting rock, and Volume Four, his latest, is no different. Perharps a tad more refined, but we’re in pretty much the same territory. The drums choke their way through the clouds, the bass is ALIVE, and samples are fucking destroyed and built again.
And if providing yet another tape of sonic gold wasn’t enough, Mr. Fuzz has graced us with a video for the track “High Life” as well. Some of those cheap ass tall boys show up, too. Fuzzy got the hooch, am I right?! Regardless, watch the video above, and be prepared to step up your cloak, mask, and glove game. Ewww, try and cop Volume Four while you still can, too!
