I promised myself last year that the Top 25 Album Covers of 2008 list would be my last. But I think I said that the year before as well. I’ve been doing the list now for several years now, and I’ve had a great deal of fun sifting through website after website looking for my favorite cover art. Believe it or not, though, it actually takes quite a while to compile 25 album covers that speak to me in one way or another. Sure I could slowly accumulate these over the year, but who has freakin’ time? Well, as always, I found myself intrigued again by all the great cover art I was seeing near the end of this year. And with a little coaxing from Mr P himself and a few days off from work to spare, I thought I’d try it out once again. So, here they are: some serious, some obvious, some playful, and some downright badass album covers.
