Even in my mid-30s, maybe even more so, I am familiar with terminal, chronic pining. When I do it, I prefer things that make me feel dreamy, sixteen, carless, tragic, and hopeful that the right glance from HER will turn it all into montage and the future that’s always been supposed to be.
