Edge, Fly Pan Am, God's Money, Tangerine Dream, disco rock, lean and rhythmic against warm and ethereal, Interpol, half-whisper style female coos, bittersweet yet anthemic, sugary, propulsive, sing-song, chiming, jarring touches here and there, tour with a band that has a similar ambitious pop-via-post-rock shoegazing sensibility, smiling, laughing, Volvo driving music, winsome, unoriginal, tempered, cool, crisp, faceted, bland, cute, twee, jangle, misunderstood, understood, understated, stately, percussive, jagged, directionless, head-bob at the Gap, mostly experimental indie label branching out but something is boring in this water maybe it's the warmth that feels like pee release, guy's voice is terrible, girl's is too -- but at least it's something different, nitpick inspiring, Edge had a cool guitar style, where's my Joshua Tree CD?
