Prolific Japanese ambient composer and White Paddy Mountain label boss Chihei Hatakeyama is back with Forgotten Hill, his latest full-length. The record is out September 20 via Room40, and features nine “sonic impressions” inspired by a journey to the burial mounds and Buddhist artifacts of Japan’s Asuka region.
Below you’ll find a video for the album’s title track, which basks in the familiar yet calming tones of Chihei’s treated guitars and appropriately airy, trippy visuals.
