I can’t remember why I didn’t see Angel Olsen when I had the chance back in November, but I regret it every time I listen to Half Way Home (TMT Review), which came in at #23 on our Favorite 50 Albums of 2012. Olsen’s voice seems to emanate from a cosmos that no one else will ever see, yet simultaneously blooms from the familiarity of old-school country songs.
