Animal Collective, best known for their high cheekbones and awkward bipartisan orgies, have announced a new EP. Titled The Painters, the release is a companion to last year’s Painting With and features three new tracks from that album’s sessions, as well as a cover of “Jimmy Mack,” a song made famous by Martha & The Vandellas. It’s out on Friday, February 17, via Domino.
