Indie hip-hop duo Atmosphere have revealed plans for their follow-up to 2014’s Southsiders. Titled Fishing Blues, the new record is set to drop August 12 via Rhymesayers and will feature the likes of Aesop Rock, DOOM, Kool Keith, and The Grouch throughout its 18 tracks.
The duo has also debuted a music video for Fishing Blues’s lead single, “Ringo.” As a “past-his-prime actor” deals with the cannibalistic nature of the entertainment industry, the song’s hook exclaims, “Everyone wants to see a falling star.” Watch it below.
Just in case a new album and music video weren’t enough, Atmosphere are headed out on tour throughout the summer and fall with Aesop Rock, Brother Ali, Pretty Lights, and more. All confirmed dates can be found below, and tickets are on sale now.
