Two things I know:
1. Things that come in groups of three are “funnier, more satisfying, or more effective than other numbers of things.”
2. Things that are small are so adorable I could almost die.
Toward the end of being both the most adorable and the funniest band in the whole wide world, Blanche Blanche Blanche (which, come to think of it, is a pretty satisfying name for a band) have announced a three date mini-tour that is just the cutest thing you ever saw. The tour also features Ryan Power, Son of Salami, and Happy Jawbone Family Band. It’s in support of Blanche Blanche Blanche’s forthcoming Wooden Ball LP on NNA Tapes, out March 5. You can pre-order the album now from the label.
The first single from Wooden Ball is “TED Talks,” for which the band has just released a video, made by the band’s own Zach Phillips. The song is pretty cool, though it seems oddly focused on starting a beef with some guy named Ted whose only sin, as far as I can tell, was talking. Weird. Listen to it on the NNA Tapes Soundcloud or watch it here:
