bod [包家巷] to cheer us all up with Music for Self Esteem, releases epic prelude video

Been feeling down in the dumps lately? Well, good news: renowned motivational speaker / sculptor of electronic violence and beauty Nicholas Zhu is back with the announcement of a forthcoming release titled Music for Self Esteem.

Details are scant as of now, but the music sure isn’t, as Zhu has released an epic audiovisual prelude via Janus sub-label Yegorka. As Zhu notes in the video, Music for Self Esteem aims “to point all meaning towards the feedback loop between oneself and one’s opinion of oneself. It is this body of interactions that, in my opinion, create the basis for all art/music/creative work that is self-aware.” Can’t wait to blast this one at my next big sales pitch!

The album, due sometime this summer, will follow bod [包家巷]’s excellent trifecta of 2018 releases, The Advent of Silicon Rain, Limpid Fear, and The Recurrence of Infections.
