Forward-thinking experimental country/folk artist Carla Bozulich has pressed a limited-edition vinyl release of 2003’s Red Headed Stranger, which is now available via Folktale Records’s Bandcamp page. The album is an “interpretation” of Willie Nelson’s wildly successful 1975 record of the same name, with a crackerjack backing band helping to recast the songs in intriguing new shades. It was reverentially reviewed upon its initial release.
Act fast; they only pressed 500 units.
