The Cave Singers, who have spent exactly 72% of 2011 on tour, have announced their final lineup of tourdates for the year and, despite the fact that you’ve already seen them play three other shows, I bet you’ve already bought tickets.
2011 was a big year for The Cave Singers. They toured Europe and North America multiple times, explored China and exposed Chinese youth to the magic of American folk music, played pretty much every festival worth going to, finally beat their dads at chess, and even released a third album, No Witch, on Jagjaguwar, which won the band more critical praise than any of their two other albums could hope for.
Now, most people would say “congrats, take the rest of the year off and enjoy December with your family and friends,” but The Cave Singers are heading back out on the road because the road is where they live and the road is where they’ll die.
Keep on truckin’, Cave Singers, ‘cuz my girlfriend is expecting a great show!
