Deathbomb Arc celebrates 10 yr anniversary with new site & free comp!

Total fucking psycho-fuck record label Deathbomb Arc are entering double digits as they celebrate their 10th anniversary this year. “That’s pretty cool, I guess,” you say. You bet your shriveled dick that it’s fucking cool, you nonchalant ass-hat! And to do this anniversary right, they’ve launched a brand new website that now features their full discography of elaborate madness, and they’ve released the first installment of a free compilation series that will update throughout 2012. So drop that on your tongue and trip out on it.

According to the press release, the anniversary compilation series, DBA100, begins with a collection of new recordings by bands covering their favorite songs released by Deathbomb Arc. Turbine, the first band the label released, contributes a cover of Foot Village (fuck, that’s cool). Yuma Nora (also with releases on Not Not Fun) and Monster Dudes, two acts “vital to the label in the mid 00′s,” have formed a supergroup called YumaDudes to cover Gang Wizard (oh shit, that’s cool, too). Current Deathbomb acts I.E. and tik///tik contribute tracks as well. This installment also includes a virtual photo album to walk you down Deathbomb memory lane and nauseatingly hyperactive animated artwork made by Isaac Hicks.

The label will also be launching a new Tumblr and announcing their physical releases for 2012, including a triple LP anthology of the 90s Bay Area band rRope and their first audiobook! “Oh hey, now I’m psyched,” you say. Fuck you, latecomer.
