Erykah Badu’s latest project, last year’s BUT YOU CAINT USE MY PHONE mixtape (part of TMT’s Favorite Mixtapes of November 2015 feature), has been announced as one of the special releases planned for 2016’s Record Store Day Black Friday event. It’s out November 25, and it will mark the tape’s first release on a physical format.
The news comes just after the surprise release of vinyl reissues of Badu’s first two records, Baduizm and Mama’s Gun, earlier this week.
The entirety of the list of Record Store Day’s Black Friday exclusive releases has also dropped, and it features a wide range of artists from The Beach Boys and The Rolling Stones to Xiu Xiu, Electric Wizard, Lil Yachty, and Ornette Coleman.
