The last time we heard from Fatherhood (a.k.a. Physical Therapy & Michael Magnan), they made a riddim-inspired appearance on Daniel Fisher’s smorgasbord of an LP, It Takes A Village: The Sounds Of Physical Therapy, which came out on Fisher’s Allergy Season label early last month.
I’ve personally heard enough Fatherehood singles to know that I’m ready for consecutive tracks existing all in one place, and wouldn’t you know it: the two New York producers have a similar idea in mind with their announcement of Homeschooled, a new EP out July 12 on the Stockholm-based Study Records. It’s the only EP in Fatherhood’s discography (lest you count 2015’s Child Support) which had two tracks of either Magnan or Physical Therapy breaking their predetermined tether. There’s probably a familial lesson in there somewhere.
Homeschooled has four tracks, including an allegedly “banging” remix from Art Alfie, the Swedish producer who’s no stranger (alongside Mr. Tophat) to the house-geared singles habit. Keep an eye on this page for release information, my son(s). Meanwhile, listen to the track “Green Piece” below:
Homeschooled tracklisting:
01. Healthy Cut
02. Raw Honey
03. Green Piece
04. Green Piece (Art Alfie Remix)
