Promising news for all of us out here who own a really nice flannel shirt, but can just never find an occasion to wear it: Fleet Foxes have an extensive tour lined up for this year!
…Okay, so in the break between paragraphs right there, it’s been made apparent that Fleet Foxes don’t necessarily “do” flannel anymore. But regardless of that joke that may or may not have stopped being relevant in 2009, the point remains: Fleet Foxes have an extensive tour lined up for this year!
Like a band that had a six-year layoff between albums, the good ol’ Fox Force Five will be taking the continent (North America) by storm from March through May, with a special ONE NIGHT ONLY appearance in July. This includes stops at Boston Calling, the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, and of course — the gold standard for all bands that sound infinitely better in an indoor theater than they do at a festival in the California desert: Coachella.
