Grammy-award winner, Bieber song ghostwriter, groundbreaking sexual orientation Tumblr blog-writing dude, and purveyor of all-around great soul tunes Frank Ocean can add another flashy title to his Wikipedia page: jet setter. Ocean’s got a summer world tour lined up, so sorry, USA, but we’ll always have Paris or whatever. (Well, Paris will have Paris, and the UK will get a healthy dose of Frank Ocean, and the US has YouTube videos.) Hell, Frank Ocean is even going to Australia for the Splendour in the Grass Festival. That’s how you know it’s a bona fide world tour: AUSTRALIA. That shizz is far away, man.
But it’s not just about our antipodean friends, oh no! Frank Ocean is going to Europe, and boy is he playing a lot of PARKS. Imagine the sheer joy of being a child with popsicle smeared all over your face, getting pushed in the swing by your underpaid Polish nanny (you’re an English child) as the sweet, melancholy sounds of “Swim Good” float into your ears. Wouldn’t that be awesome? That moment of sheer joy is what the Frank Ocean Summer 2013 world tour will be all about. Except for instead of mere moments, it’s like, an entire month. Better start working on pronouncing, “What’s up, Laugardalshollin!?!?!?!?!?” right now, Frank.
