BREAKING NEWS: Frank Ocean is doing something! This time, it’s playing a couple of shows, his first live dates in three years.
[UPDATE (1:50 PM): Frank Ocean will also be playing Hangout Music Festival in Gulf Shores, Alabama (May 19-21) and Sasquatch! in George, Washington (May 26-28), with a possible headlining spot at Panorama in NYC, according to Consequence of Sound.]
Ocean will be in Denmark on June 9 of next year, as one of the headlining acts at NorthSide, and will additionally headline one of the nights of Lovebox, in London, on June 14. Also, per Lovebox’s little blurb on their website, Ocean’s appearance at Lovebox will be one of two festival appearances he is set to make next year, in the U.K. MYSTERY DATE!
Presumably, more tour dates will follow, but with Frank Ocean, who really knows. Honestly, I’m hoping he announces a date or two on the Moon; would give me an excuse to finally get up there.
And… that’s it really. What else is new? Have you been watching Westworld? Any good? I’m planning on binge-watching the whole thing on New Year’s Day, so no spoilers. Yeah, should be a fun way to experience things. Alright, take it easy.
