Intrigued by the idea of festivals, but turned off by the notion of shelling out your entire nest egg to sweat profusely amongst a large group of strangers while barely being able to see [insert legacy act here]? Well look no further than this year’s Freakout Fest, brought to you by the fine folks at Freakout Records.
Taking place in Ballard, WA from November 14 through 17, Freakout Fest has become an annual showcase for rising musical talents in and beyond the Seattle area. Yeah, that’s right, door’s over there, Beyoncé! Hit the road, Childish Gambino! Go record dialogue for a needless The Lion King 1½ remake or something. This is one festival you CAN’T HEADLINE!
In its seventh year, Freakout Fest will feature the likes of Soft Kill, Death Valley Girls, Acid Tongue, and Mint Field, along with the one act who can headline any damn festival they want, and more! More specifically, the festival will have a strong focus on both Latinx bands and Canadian artists.
The seventh iteration of Freakout Fest blows in like a cool coastal breeze to Ballard, WA from November 14 through November 17. For tickets and more info, make sure to click here.
