Tim Cohen sounds like the name of my rabbi’s son. Like a good rabbi, always down to step away from the group for a little one-on-one time with the eternal, Tim Cohen has stepped away from his very Fresh bandmates for an adventure of Only one, titled Luck Man, which is out January 20 on Sinderlyn.
This doesn’t sound like rabbinnical music to me exactly, so I don’t know what Tim’s going to tell his dad, who is pretty famous around town for his dream that Lil Timmy will someday join him in the study of the Tanakh. But if I go to Schul this Saturday, I’ll let him know that first single “John Hughes” sounds a lot like what The Fresh & Onlys were doing on Long Slow Dance, which is very good news indeed for what Luck Man might be like.
Luck Man:
01. Wall About A Window
02. Shine
03. John Hughes
04. Meat is Murder
05. Breathe and Die
06. Bedfellows
07. I Need a Wife
08. Sunshine
