It’s been awhile since Gorillaz released their debut album (TMT Review)… nine years to be exact. Who knew that a bunch of cartoon characters created by the singer of a 90s Britpop band and a graphic designer would still be credible almost a decade later? Well, not only are they still very much relevant, but Gorillaz will be embarking on a fall tour to support their recent album Plastic Beach (TMT Review) on Virgin Records. The “Escape to Plastic Beach” tour will hit most major cities in the US, and tickets go on sale for most dates during the first two weeks of August.
