Twitter is a bad website full of evil and venom that no one should ever use. However, on the off chance someone needs somewhere to spread positive information that a lot of people will pick up on very quickly, Twitter is probably the place.
So, here we are today, reporting that by way of replying to a fan’s tweet that itself was in reply to a another reply she made to a different fan celebrating an inaccurate anniversary of her album Visions, Grimes has announced that she has a new album in the works — out ideally this spring, but realistically this fall.
Ready? Here we go:
actually it's 2012 so 6 yrs and a nu one out this year so 3 albums in 6 years is not a bad level of productivity … 7 years i'd be judging myself a bit

So: “Untitled album that we have no other information on other than that it’s in the works for a release sometime in 2018” will be (would be?) Grimes’ first since 2015’s Art Angels, an album that was one of TMT’s favorites of that year.
Anyway, that’s all we’ve got. Maybe listen to a few older Grimes tracks below, while you wait for Who Knows o’clock on the Whateverteenth of Somedayuary, 2018 to arrive.
