Back in 2011, Liz Harris simultaneously released Dream Loss and Alien Observer as two parts of the A I A series. At the time, TMT wrote, “this sound/synapse transposition is as haunting as it is beautiful — surely Grouper’s best.”
While the original vinyl editions have long since vanished into the ether, Kranky has announced a vinyl reissue of the two records. You can pre-order both of those albums now ahead of the October 25 release date.
