ICYMI: Danny Brown documentary Live At The Majestic did not get released by Apple Music; psychics dumbfounded

Hey, remember the Danny Brown documentary Live At the Majestic that was supposed to receive a wide release courtesy of Apple Music last week? Well, hopefully fans of the proud Detroit native aren’t STILL sitting in front of their computers in anticipation, because I’m not sure about the exact biological process, but I’m almost positive that, after spending so much time in a stationary, seated position, dense spiderwebs (full of spiders) start forming around your internal organs.

That documentary never appeared, and there’s a chance that it will never appear, according to the official Twitter detailing from Danny Brown himself. As you can see below, last week, he stated pretty plainly documentary is just straight-up “not coming out,” and that it was essentially shelved for reasons that have yet to be fully explained by anybody. The whole thing’s kind of weird, considering the fact that the doc actually received a limited premiere last year at a theater in New York.

We’ll forgo the speculation here at TMT, but it definitely sucks for Danny as well as the folks (like Director Andrew Cohn) who put in the effort behind the scenes to make sure Brown’s interesting story and personality were showcased in a memorable way. Ah well. So it goes. Time to boycott Apple, if you want. Such is life. Goodbye.
