As we all know, fans of synthesizers are the least geeky people in society, so trying to pitch Lego creations of the popular Minimoog is going to be a hard sell. FACT recently reported on a synth lover who is also an apparent Lego nerd. Although in uncharted water, this hybrid of synth-lover and smart dork named Andy Grobengieser has created an impressive replica of the Minimoog.
The Lego model is posted on Lego Ideas, which includes updates and building instructions. If you are so nerdily inclined, you can vote on the site to get this synth Lego manufactured for realsies. Grobengieser also has a prototype of a Lego Moog modular, but it’s not yet available to vote for. In hindsight, synth players are constantly using their hands (masturbation), so maybe it makes sense for them to build a Lego replica.
